I'll go backwards some other time and explain how this madness started. For today all you need to know is that my entire lower body, everything below my waist, is SO F'N SORE I can barely sit on the toilet to drop a duce AND get back up. I guess having DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) is a good sign, in some weird way. I'm pushing my body to the limit and it is replying with a big old "oh yeah, well let me show you who's the boss here...".
So, instead of another bodyweight workout this morning, I went shopping, picked-up some yum-yums for my daughter's birthday, and I'm riding the couch dreaming of what bike I could realistically build for the L100. Today my son suggested getting a Knolly Fugative frame as the foundation. I haven't done the full analysis yet on the geometry specifications, but it looks like it could be a reasonable approach. The price is right, but I still have my heart set on a XC-specific frame (aka Pivot Mach 4 SL).
My calendar just reminded me today is Wednesduro at Highland Mountain Bike Park. <a moment of silence to curse the current situation, once again...>. Oh well, opening day isn't too far away and I still have plenty of training to do between now and then.
