You wake up, excited to see beautiful weather outside. You told yourself you'd get in an early ride. You begin to assemble your gear, only to be delayed by having your gear spread to the four corners of your house. Shoes upstairs, bike computer downstairs, empty water bottle still on the bike... Not good. I'm sure you're more organized than I am, but it happens to everyone. Some more than others. By "get organized" I don't mean "put everything you need in one place the night before." That's basic stuff. What I mean is - create a space to keep everything you need easy to find. Be committed to keeping the space clear of everything else. ONLY use the space for your riding gear. Well, I need help. I need help with my recovery. I did a body-weight, leg-centric, workout on Monday and I'm still so sore. I'm walking like a cowboy after a rodeo and making funny (not "haha") faces when I walk up the stairs. My wife, a college athlete, tells me I need to stretch more and keep up with the workouts. Taking too much time off between resistance workouts isn't good... I'm not convinced 100%, but I'll get back on the horse tomorrow and see how it goes. Wish me luck.
